Why am I receiving a new Visa Card?

Chicago Patrolmen's Federal Credit Union is changing our credit card processor to provide you with the most efficient services available. This change requires that a new card be issued with a new card number.

Will my interest rate or fee structure change as part of this conversion and card reissue?

No. The interest rate and current fee structure are not changing.

Will my expiration date and/or CVV (3-digit security code) change?

Yes.  The current expiration date and CVV security code are changing.

Will I receive a new PIN (Personal Identification Number) so I can access cash from my credit card?

No. You will not be receiving a PIN mailer. Instead you will select your own custom PIN number by calling 888-886-0083.

My existing card does not expire for quite a while; can I continue using my existing card until expiration?

No. You will not be able to use your existing card on or after 11:59pm on Saturday, October 7th. Instructions will come with your new card to ensure it is ready to use on that day when your current card expires.

My spouse/authorized user and I both have credit cards; will they also receive a card?

Yes. For greater flexibility and security protection, your spouse/authorized user will receive a new card with the same card number in the same envelope as yours. If they do not receive a card, please make sure to contact our Call Center at 800-326-8814.

I have three users under my credit card account, will we all receive our cards in the same envelope?

No. Because envelopes only hold up to two cards, the primary and secondary card holders will receive their cards in the same envelope and the third card holder will receive their card in a separate envelope.

Will the due date for my credit card payment change?

This depends on what your due date is currently. See chart below for more information.

Will I need to send my payment to a new address after the conversion?

Yes. The new mailing address is: PO Box 660493, Dallas, TX 75266-0493 OR If you pay your bill via online bill payment, you will need to update the mailing address to PO Box 660493, Dallas, TX 75266-0493 on October 6, 2017 to ensure that your payment reaches the new processor by your scheduled due date. Following the conversion, you will still be able to make your payments through your National Police Credit Union Online banking account, the Call Center, or any branch location.

Will my previous card history transfer to my new card so I have access to the information if needed?

 The previous card account history will be retained for your new card and/or account number. However, you will not be able to access previous statements or online history after October 6, 2017. It is recommended that you save the statements to your computer or print hard copies before this date. If you need statement copies after this date, you can call our Call Center at 800-326-8814. Previous statement copies will only be available for a limited time.

Will I need to change my recurring payment or credit account information?

Yes. The account number, expiration date will change along with the CVV code (3 digits located on the back of your card). Therefore, it is vitally important to update your account information on all recurring charges or credits that you have authorized on your Chicago Patrolmen’s Federal Credit Union Visa credit card.

I have a Blue Line Rewards card with points, will those points be brought over to my new card?

Yes. Blue Line Reward points will transfer over to your new card. Your points will be viewable the first time the account statements on our new system.
